Dr. Andrea Csok’s decision to open the Cleveland Tongue-Tie Center was inspired by her personal history with lip-ties and tongue-ties. When she became a mother, her son struggled with breastfeeding, and her knowledge of dentistry allowed her to notice that he had a lip tie. Two years later, her daughter was born with the same condition. This prompted Dr. Csok to discover that she herself had a tongue-tie, which explained her mouth-breathing and chronic earaches growing up. After completing Dr. Baxter’s Tongue-Tie Academy course and attending the International Affiliation of Tongue-Tie Professionals’ annual conference, she chose to open her own lip and tongue-tie treatment center to help patients suffering from tethered oral tissues. Today, she provides lip and tongue tie release using state-of-the-art laser technology for fast, comfortable treatment.
